Most small dogs suffer from fear agression. Get her in some obedience classes, they will not only teach her not to go after everyone, but they will also give her cofidence so she won't be afraid all the time and feel the need to strike out. Good Luck

Go to petsmart and have her trained.
Bad Habits are taught. If you got her as a baby than you were repsonsible to teach it her to NOT do that.
You have to start the day you get the dog..not 5 years later.
I have a chihuahua and she is love and is the so sweet. Its like she isn't even a dog and thinks she is human.
We started from day one and have worked with her everyday. Its like kids. You have to be there 24 hours a day for every need. You just can't put down a food bowl and not spend anytime with her.
It sounds like she is pissed at you..like a child who gets no attention will rebell and get into trouble.

I too have a chihuahua, and it is their character to bark, but the biting must stop. Next time she tries to bite, lightly, yet firmly hold her mouth and say no. If that does not work, make sure next time you take her out she is on a leash and warn people that she bites, then it is their fault if they continue to pet her.

Chihuahua's are "one person" animals, they pick one person to be close to and anyone else is invading their teritory. Unless a chihuahua is socilized well as a puppy, and introduced to many people, this will usually happen. When I was working with dogs every day, one statistic we would tell potential chihuahua owners is "more people are bitten every year by chihuahua's than by pittbulls."

It's a Chiuahua. It's their nature to be mean. What did you expect when you got it? I have a Chihuahua and a Boxer. The Boxer is really afraid of the Chiuahua. Just get used to it being mean.

You need to watch the Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic channel.
Cesar has dealt with several cases of mean Chihauhuas. I think that the reason it happens is that people tend to think of these little dogs as babies, not dogs. You need to be the pack leader and gain control. Just watching his show can help you.

That's one breed I hate to see come in for grooming or nail clipping, almost all of them bite.
