I dreamp about several dogs. As I went to my front door I looked across the street at my neighbors house and I saw a small dog and a wolf, next thing I knew, the small dog was in my house alone with another small dog, the wolf ran across the street to get to my house and was at my front door trying to get in, I pushed the door on him but he was still pressing against the door I finally was able to block him from getting into my house.
I don't know what that was about I have no fear of dogs.

Sounds like a protective instinct coming out. you're protecting the small and defenseless against big and dangerous. Hurrah!
I always think dreams have a much simpler meaning than we expect.

In the native American culture the wolf is a protector, the small dogs are infiltrators and pose the real threat. The dream is showing you you are in danger and preventing yourself from being protected because you don't immediately know you are in danger. Danger has a way of surrounding a person and giving a false since of security because it is familiar. The pack of dogs represent the fact that this is a situation you are comfortable with even though you shouldn't be, the Wolf is there to chase them away and protect you. First, I compliment you on your courage in the first dream. In the second, you seem to be a child? And of course the dogs would seem a lot bigger. You didn't say whether you were frightened... Fear can be a warning (in dreams and in life). You began by being protective of the cats... and the aggressive animals may be some kind of danger (perhaps coming from people - they did turn into men). You did find some defense with your weapon, but that they initially caught you off guard. Keep up with your protective and courageous spirit.

Wolfs have a bad connotation in our culture because of Hollywood. In reality they are wonderful creatures. Perhaps you are blocking something wonderful in your life instead of embracing it. You are retaining small thinking rather than going for the bigger picture.
