A few days ago, I asked a question about my 3-year-old female dog (not spayed yet) who had a moving lump in her belly, right underneath the skin of her lowest nipple. Well, it's still "coming and going," but now it seems as though the nipple on the other side (so both sides) have these lumps that come and go. I'm pretty sure she's going to start bleeding pretty soon.

One lump is bigger than the other but is it possible that they are there because she is about to go into heat (I see little bits of red on her genitalia at times but nothing so much that she's spotting the furniture and stuff)? If so, why do they keep disappearing and reappearing in the same spots ("underneath" her lowest nipples)?

I have a new kid on our block 9 mos Husky, he's cute and potty trained, but jumps on me and picks on the Shitzu and won't leave the lab alone. He drives me nuts, I'm the 4th or 5th owner of this beautiful creature and I refuse to bring him back like everyone else did. The only complaint I have is when I walk them, they both try to pull my arm off, any suggestions to help me let them know I'm the leader of this pack. I have pictures of my lab and husky on a website...I made my lab his own.

This was quoted from a reply to someone else's question. To the person that said this, I ask have you ever done Rally?? Rally is not as basic as some think. Rally Novice is on lead, yes. But, you are doing 2 different finishes from a front, in the regular obedience ring, you only need to make sure your

"By the way, I think RALLY is incredibly stupid!! Those are just the exercises that you use to teach the dog the things needed for real obedience work. If you spend all the time practicing the practice moves, you will bore the dog into the ground and never get the real job done which getting them through the legitimate degrees. If you were learning to play the piano, would you practice fingering the keys for 2 years or would you move onto scales and pieces of music to stretch your skills? Rally is something the AKC came up with so people could get ribbions without having to do as much work as for the real degrees so then they would enter shows and the AKC get more money......"

How can I convince myy mom into letting me get a puppy. I know they are a big responsiblity and expensive, but... I have had one before, I just had to give it away because we were moving to a town house with no pets allowed. I have enough money, and I just want a sweet little mutt. How can I convince her that I am responsible enough having to think that I have had one before, and that it would be with my own money... not hers?

I have a dog (male) that I got at the pound 7 months ago, hes now 10 months, he is a mix shepard/terrier (more terrier hes very small). I am going to be getting him a play mate so I need to know what breed is good, male or female, and age of the dog i should get. I am not home much, my dog is an inside dog, i take him for walks in the morning and night and take him to the dog park several times a week....so whats your opinion on what kind of dog i should get?? PS i dont want a small dog like a yorkie and i dont want a big dog like a lab just a med. sized dog.

I just dropped my ring on the floor and before I could pick it up my puppy swooped down and swallowed it. It is a normal size ring, with 3 stones on it. Should I just wait for her to poop it out? What should I do? THANKS!

I have a Yorkie, Winer Dog mix. She is about 11 months old and no matter what I do, she WILL NOT GO OUTSIDE!!! I love her and have tried everything.... My husband and I smoke outside only, so we are in and out all the time. I stay at home with my son, so I am normally always here. She will go outside and pee or popp and then come in and do it again. I know she is done, it's not like I make her quit during, but she has to do it inside too.
I have tried rubbing her nose in it, and spanking, puppy training pads and treats.
NOTHING WORKS!!
I have hard wood floors in my whole house and have to scrub them numerous times a day to keep them clean. She isn't allowed in most of my house because of this. What am I supposed to do????
HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am doing my "homework" on different breeds, and these three are the ones that I really like. I am looking for a breed that likes to go for walks. What have you heard? And do you reccomend?

I dropped my dog off this morning at a dog groomer to get her nails clipped due to i wanted a proffesional so the dog wouldn't get hurt or nails clipped to short, well the groomer contacted my husband to come pick her up b/c they stated the dog tried to bite them while they were trying to bathe her..my dog is very gentle and would never bite or has never bit anyone when my husband picked her up she had almost no toenail and was bleeding so if my dog did snap that was probably the reason also she smelled sooooo bad we had to drop her off at a different groomer to finish the bath process and when we went back to get her they didn't understand what the problem was with the other groomer she was a perfect and easy dog to bathe...sorry so long of a story but does anyone know who or what i can do (also the other dog we took there before they stated the same thing about biting but i believed them then due to not so sure about that dog but now i'm not sure!!!ugggh my poor baby what should i do

My Brittany is 3 months, and so far he's been able to make it to the door, but as soon as he gets there, he'll squat. Recently I've been carrying him from his kennel directly outside so that he can go... but he obviously has to learn something someway, I'm just not sure how to do it.

This is a question for a friend... does anyone have any firsthand advice about this breed of dog? we've read info etc. But I dont know anyone who has one. Shes ineterested in how sociable it will be and 'personality' of the breed. Also how easy it is to train and house train. It always nice to hear first hand experience!

Say, if the owner goes away for a few months - does the dog remember their owner, or do they adapt out of survival to the caregivers and environment of the moment?

I have always wanted a chow becuase I had one when I was younger, it's like a living teddy bear (lol). I have a son and I just seen this court show where a chow attacked this transgendered person and bit his nose off. Is this normal.

I have 2 shitzu dogs and I leave them in a pen in my (heated) garage during the day. They pee and poop in the pen and also eat the poop. I leave them in crates during the night and they are fine. I hate to leave them in crates during the day while I'm at work and gone for 8 or 9 hours. Any suggestions?
