That would be a matter of heredity - either the genes for "a stocky look" are there, and the pups will show it - or it's not, and they won't. Generally speaking, if there is a particular trait you wish for in a pup or pups, you breed dogs that exhibit that trait.

as much as i like pit bulls, throwing a youthful domestic dog in with 2 small canines is inquiring for problems. Has this pit been good socialized from a youthful age? And the different canines? they should have been presented on a independent floor all on leash as quickly as they have all been exercised, then transitioned into the domicile. The domestic dog is being a bully, as many pit bulls will do, surprisingly to smaller canines, in spite of the undeniable fact that it is likewise in basic terms being a playful domestic dog! it relatively is fantastic to enable them to have Supervised play yet while the older canines start to chew and growl and the domestic dog would not take the hint, it's time to maximum remarkable with a comfortable, stern NO and separate. Pit Bulls won't start up a combat, yet they're going to end it and thats generally the undertaking. i might by no skill go away a small canines on my own with a greater canines, no longer to point a pit bull. they should have separate crates or a canines run exterior the place you could rotate the canines if mandatory. confirm the pit gets sufficient workout and is no longer allowed to ruin out with something, yet do no longer enable the different little canines to antagonize for no reason the two. specific pit bulls have been bred to combat, yet they have been bred for gameness which relatively skill they gained't lower back off. they are in a position to be canines aggressive, yet maximum incredibly are not. some genetics in specific individual canines can't be knowledgeable out, yet with maximum a to blame proprietor, appropriate education and socialization, and documents of the breed creates a sturdy canines.

You can't make a dog have a certain look; much like you can't for a child to grow up to be tall. If that particular 'look' is in the pups genes, you might get what you want. Either way, you have a great breed for a pet! Treat it right :o)

You can't make them look for stocky.. pits generally get in all their height and fill out later. By the time they are 24 months old, they will have filled out.

Why do you want them to look stocky? I can only imagine...

as long as you treat them how you should (excersize, GOOD food, love) they will be stocky, it is in the breed! I just puppy sat for a 5 month old pitbull, and he was already stocky compared to my boxer puppy!!!

the only way your pit will grow up stocky is if thats in his genes...some pits are taller and leaner built...what body type were his parents that should give you a clue.....no food or vitamins will change his genetics....just train him, socialize him and make him the type of pit that helps us prove what a great breed this is !!!!

Good quality puppy food. Enough excersise to produced muscle rather than fat. Deworming regularly. Milk, eggs , liver etc . I be carefull about any form of chicken bone/neck etc as it can get stuck in a dogs throat.

for any kind of puppies it's best to give them puppy food not adult food, also give them fresh milk time to time, cheese and also keep them moving around (active) if they use their muscles more, they will most likely get bigger and show (if that's what you want) but don't put any heavy chains or anything heavy on them, it would make them feel uncomfortable and also mess up their spines....
