I just got a puppy and I love her to death. I kiss her all the time and she seem to love licking my face as well.

Is that their way of "kissing" or showing their love? Also do they understand that when we kiss them is a sign of our love for them?

Is it bad if I let her lick my face, especially the my mouth area?

My 3 month old black lab has been doing so good at potty training. She hasn't gone on the floor for quite some time now. She does have a bad habit of peeing in her kennel when I'm not around. I'll put her in her kennel when I go to work, which is right across the street, and be able to take quick breaks to go home and let her out, but she still pees in it. I usually get her out every 4 hours during the night and she'll do it then too, or I'll take her out, put her in her kennel while I shower and come back and she's gone in there. I clean it out everytime with one of those special soaps that's supposed to get her urine smell out of it. I can't keep any blankets or pillows in there for her because she pees on them. Some have gotten to the point where they couldn't be washed anymore...I just had to throw them out. What do I do??? Please help!!!

I have a small dog, and no he's a mutt not a purebreed. He was abandoned on my doorstep, but he was well cared for before he arrived at the house. He had been groomed, didn't have heartworm, and was well trained. I want to have puppies from him is there anyway I can breed him with a pure bred, with him being a mutt and not having papers. Or would I have to get another mutt.

after visiting lots of dogs weve chose a lab. she had been turned down by a breeder course she said the lab wasnt going to be big enough. and turned down by someone who wanted her for a gun dog course they said she was to soft. but we fell in love with her. anyway im after advice on training espesially and expieriances with the breed if anyone can help. and also can you really tell these things when a pup is so young. thanks.

My puppy just recently got his rabies shot now their is a cyst like lump in the area where the shot was given. Is this normal? I worry about it being something else but it popped up so quickly after having the shot. It doesn't seem to hurt him at all and he is acting like his usual self. If this is normal how long does it last and when should I have it checked out by the vet?

He seems to love chewing on the molding in the house. And being as big as he is, he strips in right down from the ceiling. He has chew toys to play with and he is let out a couple times a day when my son is working. Would really appreciate any help at all. Thanks

ever since we got cloey,my 9 month old silk terrier/doxie mix she has eaten poop..not only hers but her brothers too.She shreds it up into pieces and eats it? the vet gave us poweder to put on her food but that didnt work..why does she do this and how can i make her stop? its gross!!
