Revolution is a newer product, and it is amzingly effective! the vets are encouraged by the maker to give the first treatment for free, so call the vets in your area and see who will give it for free..It also gets rid of roundworms, tapes worms, and most other parasites, as well as prevent heart-worm..safe for puppies, and you just can't beat it!
However, to get them off right now, warm a room of your home and bathe the pup with Dawn dish soap, or Ivory bar soap.. Leave it on for a few minutes, and rinse well..then brush the puppy as he dries, and all fleas will be gone temporarily..DON'T allow him to get a chill, as chilling is very dangerous at this age..Dry really well, and get him dry quickly
Note: Do not use a flea collar!

For a puppy this young be careful about what chemical flea repellant you use. In many of them the "poison" is too concentrated for a puppy's little body to handle. Check with your vet to see what kind and what dose will best for your pup.
If you don't want to use a chemical deterrant, you can give the puppy a bath (in warm, not hot water) with mild soap or puppy shampoo. Make sure you keep her warm and dry her off quickly. Then use a flea comb to comb out the fleas. You will have to capture each and every flea and crush it between your fingernails to kill it. You may have to repeat the process several times.

They sell puppy flea shampoo, it is cheaper when purchased at wal-mart, remember to keep the shampoo on long enough to kill the fleas, then use frontline or advantage, and be sure to spray the house and wash the puppies bedding to get rid of any other fleas. Good luck!

call a vet and ask them if it is OK to bath the puppy in flea shampoo and do a monthly flea and tick preventative like Advantage. My dog uses a Flea and tick thing ( you know that liquid stuff that comes in a little tube) that also has her heart worm preventative in it. It's an all in one once a month.

Frontline and Interceptor are very good. You can get them online, but a trip to your local vet is better. Interceptor helps to protect against fleas, ticks and mosquitoes...a nice touch, and what I use. They usually dose them by weight. Bring your pup to get weighed and they will prescribe what is best for her. Remember, bathe her and then put on the flea killing meds. Advantage also works wonders. Good luck!
Oh, and flea collars/powders are usually bad for your dog. Just an afterthought. (causes drippy eyes and stuff. where the others I have used never had bad reactions.)

Get rid of them with a good flea dip and then feed her Brewers Yeast you can get that at any local pet store it is great for skin and coat and really good for fleas. I have 3 big dogs that are in and out all of the time and they get that every day and they have never had fleas. put Sulfur Granulars on your yard too. that will repel the fleas outside.

Whenever you give a dog or cat a bath you MUST keep the water out of their ears. Unlike us, a dog or cat's ear canal goes straight down and once water is in there it's there for good unless a vet removes it. So be very careful!
Don't forget to wash in hot water or vacuum any area the puppy has been in to eliminate the fleas left there as well as their eggs.

Consult with your vet right away. There are some puppy flea products but make sure you get a good one (Petco has them in reserve and not on the counter), they cost more but you get what you pay for.

At 7 weeks you can start using"Frontline". As a temporary solution until you get some use Dawn dish soap. Keep out of her eyes. Lather dog up and watch the fleas die. Rinse well
