I currently cook my dogs food becuase the vet says she probably is allergic to artificial flavors. Does anyone know where I can get that type of food in a can from a store?

To the one girl...why would my vet be wrong? Quit being a know it all. She isn't trying to push meds on my dog, she never even suggested meds. She tested her and said I should cut out all artificial flavors because she's allergic.

A pet store that specializes in high quality food should have something for you. These types of store usually don't sell animals and carry only super high quality foods and even some raw foods. Some brands to look for (but you'll have to check the ingredients) are Merrick, Wellness, Canidae, Evo, Wysong, and Natural Balance (NOT NUTRO, NATURAL RECIPE, NATURE'S BEST, OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN Natural Balance). Good luck to you. : )

A lot of dogs are allergic to chicken products. Try a lamb or duck food. I had big problems till I switched to lamb. Now my guy is a happy camper. A big, healthy 73 pound 14 year old bundle of energy.

I buy natural dog foods specifically because my dog has allergies. I highly recommend http://www.dogseatingnatural.com they have a good range of canned natural dog food and http://www.allthingsnaturalfordogs.com for natural dog health remedies to assist with your dogs allergies also. They cater to a number of dog health conditions which I think might benefit you and your dog. Hope this helps.

Your vet is wrong. Its probably a yeast problem your dog has.

Any rate, I Have a shihztu who needs only natural food. There is one called Steves. I get it at whole foods.

Natural dog foods are VERY expensive. If this food does not take care of his problems try..

www.nzymes.com and buy their products. This is what my dog is on too.

Good luck, but vets are in it to push meds and I dont agree with them hardly at all.

IMO

Take care!!!

If you have a Whole Foods or Earthfair in your city you can get it there. Otherwise, check online at their web sites.
