That site with pet names that someone mentioned ... it's probably this one:
http://www.20000-names.com/pet_names_dog.htm
Amongst the suggestions it has that I like are:
Dilly (remarkable, extraordinary)
Netty (apparently an english form of words ending in nette)
On the Baby Names site there's these English names:
http://www.babynamesworld.com/
Beatrix (bringer of joy)
Darla (dear, loved one)
Edythe (happy)
Jill (sweetheart)
Mayda (maiden)
Milly (from Mildred which means mild power)
Tacey (silent, calm)
Verity (truth)
Plus
Zuzela (the wife of Sitting Bull ... sort of reminds me of ZuZu the little girl in the film A Wondeful Life)
I also looked up Megan which means mighty, strong able, pearl - if you wanted to call her after your (Yahoo) name, then other names meaning Pearl include:
Lulu, Madge, Peigi & Rita
& other mighty names:
Jelani, Madison, Renny & Trumble
(isn't Trumble a wonderful name .... not too sure about standing by the back door calling her in by it ... but it is really different)
& strong:
Aubrianna, Breanna, Brianna, Karla & Matty
finally, able:
Bailey & Dex
I bet she looks so cute.

It took me like a month to name my puppy. I would pick a name, use it for a while, and then decide that I didn't like it. I found a website on the internet with all kinds of pet names, but I can't remember what it was called now. Search for pet names on google.com and maybe you'll run across something. Good luck.
