We have a something-spaniel mix (they said she was a Brittany, but it turns out she isn't) from the pound and I named her Waffles.
But sometimes I call her Dork Face, or any other number of things depending on how aggravated she is making me....but "Waffles" is the official name. :-)

Cao Preto da Clepsydra a/k/a Preto-Bubba. He responds to "Preto" or "Dog."
...A possible Flat Coated Retriever. Because he was found on the highway near the Flat Creek Church, in Berrien County, Georgia, I am setting up a web site for him as a Flat Creek Retriever, along with his friends, Mr. Fred, E.C, Ginger, Tyson of Clepsydra, Reddickclepsydra, Bridget , Maggie Mae, Lyle of Clepsydra, Blue-Footed Chicken, and Lady Goose, and four unnamed cats who respond to "cat."

I have a rat terrier named Tootsie. I wasn't crazy about the name when we adopted her, but she's 5, so I didn't want to change it. Now I love it. I call her Tootsie Tootz or Tootsie face. Some people call her Tripod because she's missing a paw, but she doesn't mind.

Weinerdog/terrier. His name is HotDog, we rescued him from an animal rescue league. His previous owner named him Dog! The shelter started calling him Hot Dog and my kids didn't want to change it. He is an awesome little dog!
