Sorry guys, I messed up on the last question!

She will sneeze out a yellow "chunky" like liquid out of her nose. and then afterwards she digs very aggresivly on the ground and rolls around and rubs her nose on the ground and then she has difficulty breathing and will hold her mouth open. she has done this for as long as i can remember and i have brought her to the vet and they dont know what is wrong with her. does anyone have any suggestions of what this could be? i am desperate to find out what is wrong with her so i can get this problem fixed.

These are the most fun dogs - mine have always kept me laughing with all their silly antics & funny expressive faces. Tell me some of your Boxer's 'TOP 10' funnies?

My husband has two dogs from before we met. He has trained them that it's okay to jump up and lick food off the kitchen counter, jump up on people, and jump up on the furniture. The dogs are both nine years old (sister and brother, border collies). He wants to get a new puppy sometime soon to "carry on the pack", since one of these two will peg out in a few years. How do I train the new puppy properly, and NOT to follow in the disgusting habits of these two dogs?? My husband will continue to do as he sees fit ,when I'm not here.

What level of training does your dog have? (basic obedience, advanced obedience, property protection, personal protection on a family or executive level, sentry dog, tracking, naurcotics) Who did the training? How far would you be willing to take the training or how much further would you want to go? When you bought your dog, what was your intention for him/her? (companion, family dog, personal protection dog, property protection, service dog) Tell me your stories. I want to know what your opinions on the training you received.

This is the thing, I moved to Alabama a short 3 months ago, the guy next door has a very big dog (Susie) she is sweet and kind. Susie is not taken care of, I have spoken to this guy and he says "well, she just is here, I don't feed her and I took her to the guy down the street but she keeps coming back" so you know I am not dealing with the shapest knife in the drawer.
The guy next door hasn't been home for about 6 days and I wondered how Susie would be fed, (he must feed her something as she is still alive) and tonight I go out with my dog and she is standing there crying because she is so hungry. I go inside and get her some soup I made and mixed it with the cat food I had.
My heart is breaking as I can't take her on as a pet but the county doesn't seem to care. If nothing else is there someone in Alabama on here that would take Susie home? Sorry so long but this has me very upset. She likes other dogs and kids.

Ok sometimes my 6month old puppy will start whimpering and crying and flops on his back when doing so. I use to think that I was overfedding him because it happened after he ate and thought maybe a tummy ack, then i noticed that it even happened sometimes before he ate. I change the food too thinking it was the food. Any suggestions? before taking him to the vet??

About 3 weeks ago I rescued a golden retriever/terrier mix that was abondoned close to my neighborhood. She was very thin but not starving when I found her because some ppl at a as station close by had been giving her scraps. But, the ppl who abonded her there had abused her so I don't think she's ever had a good steady diet.
She wouldn't eat anything for the first couple days, but then I started getting her to take wet/canned food from me by hand. I started mixing in a top brand dry food with the wet until she would eat the dry on her own.
Now she's eating a small amount of the dry food every day (she has access to plenty but she just won't eat it). But she's been vomiting a couple times a day for the past week or so. Sometimes its just stumach acid, but other times its a bunch of the dry food that looks undigested.
She's been to the vet and has been dewormed. She's about 2 years old and has excellent teeth and no parasites.
She also went into heat (menstrating) about 11 days ago.

Based on YOUR experience with YOUR dog, how long did it take for you to potty train your puppy? What makes you think your experience/training method was shorter or longer than other puppies, other than the breed.

My vet thinks that she is 2 pounds overweight. He also thinks that I am to blame. She only gets 1 cup of dry dogfood a a day(Bentiful)
and 2 tiny milkbones. She is active but still gains weight.
Any sggestions for slimming her down. I'm tired of the vet looking at me like I am a criminal.

My two mini daschunds that I inherited at 8 months old have been with me two months and I still can't get them to stop going potty in the house. They know what to do outside but they also want to do it inside IN FRONT OF ME. I didn't have this problem with my other dogs because someone was always home to take them out. Now that I'm working all day, I don't know what to do. They are confined to the kitchen and have wee-wee pads although they don't always use them.

She is a stray dog we have only been feeding her for a week and we know she is pregnant. Does anyone know of a web site or just general advice on what to do when her pups come. We wanted to take her to the humane society but they would kill her on the spot plus all of her pups and I just couldnt live w/ myself so I have just adopted her untill the pups are old enough.
