I have a pug that does that. Well, she runs really hard and fast after she gets a bath. Right after I dry her off, she runs out and acts like she's a mad woman or something. It is really funny. She will not stop until I sit on the couch and then she comes over and wants me to hold her. She is the only dog that I have seen that does it. I guess it makes them feel clean and they just want to show off. I don't know about when your dog poops. Sandy don't do that.

My dogs do that too, especially after the bath. I think they just feel good.

Probably because he's excited! My cats always chase each other after one of them poops. The other one will crouch and wait for the one in the litterbox to finish, and then the race is on!

i have 8 yorkies and they all go nuts like that...they don't like the scent..they try to rub it off and run it off...you should see 8 of them doing it all at once...it's like the dog races..lol..the other ones attack each other..because they don't smell the same.it's fun to watch....enjoy.
