My chihuahua,Candy gave birth around a month ago to 2 female pups...who still have no names....please no names like Honey or Cutie....or something TOO cute,in case they inherit their mom's yappiness and evil stare.

My 14 year old 58 pound baby messed up his knee and the other leg is weak already from being old .He can only take three steps at a time .I took him to the vet today and the vet said that alot of older dogs dont benifit from surgery and he gave me meds and an injection. My dog has never needed pain killers and I am glad that I am just now having to use them .My question is does it get better in time ? Pain wise does it get better? If anyone has any experience with this problem please tell me everything you know.I am not worried about spending money .I would spend any amount for my dog .My dog is really old and I want him to be comfortable and happy .Any advise?I know that this is permanant and the leg will never be the same but will the pain go down?

I have a poodle and he's like seven months old or so.
He just learned how to go up the stairs.
When I came home, I went belistic (sp?). I yelled at the top of my lungs and told him to look at what he did. He wanted to lick me and i just gave him the cold shoulder. Then I yelled again. He trashed me whole room, everything is all over the floor. Im pretty messy but he took it to a whole new level. Anyways, I yelled at him again and he started shaking and looked at me really scared. I felt really bad when he did that and I hugged him and played with him outside. Am I in the wrong? I didn't hit him or anything. I just yelled at him, but now, after seven hours have past, I still feel really bad about it and I want to go hug him again if he wasnt sleeping.

We had our dog fixed today and he is acting like he is so much pain. We have had all our animals fixed and I know they can all be different. Is there anything besides this rimadyl we can give him for the pain. The vet has not returned our calls yet and the yelping is getting very old.

We got Bruce from a breeder when he was six months old. Apparently he had very little contact with humans in this time and today, over one month later, he still is scared of anything outside the house and back yard. He spooks at the sound of a car, the wind, loud voices, or any fast moves. He only goes in and out one particular door of the house. He is unwilling to move when he is spooked, which makes a trip to the vet for vaccincations very difficult. At now 80lbs we have to carry him if we need him to move. He is in a very loving home with tons of hugs and positive reinfocement and treats. He gets along great with the kids and our second dog, a German Shephard and comes to us to lay his head on our laps. We try to socialize him by taking him to "low key" family gatherings or on walks, but frankly having to carry him back to the car to go home is major labor. We need help in socializing him and making him more confident in dealing with the world that lies outside the house!

I know she's only 4 months old, but I've seen pictures of other huskies of the same age with much thicker coat. I give her brewer's yeast (for coat and skin) but it has minimal effect.

My puppy Gizmo a is Pekingese/poodle male. He was diagnosed to have renal dysplasia when he was 3-4 mths old but is doing very well. I would really like to have him neutered, but my veterinarian recommends against it because of the anesthesia. She mentioned the drug Neutersol, but did not know where I can find it or something like it. If anyone has any information PLEASE HELP GIZMO! We live in Ohio so if there are any vets near that perform a chemical a neuter, please contact us! Thank you!

Whenever my dog sits its not a pretty sit so to say. His hips seem to slide open ... should I be concerned or is this somthing I can fix with training. It used to just be a little, but now it seems his legs goes out even more. Is he just lazy?
