My chi is always cleaning herself!!! its annoying cuzz i can hear her slurping away.. its not her butt glands cuzz i had that checked out.. any ideas?

She may have a food allergy. Chihuahuas are prone to itchy skin because of food allergies. If she has corn, or wheat in her kibble, that is likely the problem..I used to breed Chihuahuas for many years in the 1960s-70's and they need a high quality kibble....

Make sure there is nothing caught in that area. If there is it could be irritating thus the constant licking. If you're really concerned then you could contact your vet, but more than likely she's probably just keeping herself clean.

Any breed of dog licks their privates. My dalmatian does.. but she does have an allergy so she licks more than the usual dog does.

Maybe she's itching u never know my dogs do that it's nasty.It's not bad she just wants to clean herself.

She is only too youthful to be in warmth. I truthfully have 2 adult males & 2 women folk, a million/2 of them neutered, a million/2 of them fertile and that they are continuously "checking one yet another out." this is only regularly occurring habit.

alot of breeds do this and other disgusting habits but each dog has its own style of grooming
if continues too much to your liking - consult with vet if there may be other health concerns

My chihuahua girl does it to, she loves to lick, mostly just us, but she'll lick herself alot to.

Our dog does the same thing, I think that most dogs, and cats do that.

All dogs do. Its how they clean themselves. Get used to it!! And its uber gross when they lick thier private and butthole then lick you...ewwwwwwww...
