I am an AVID dog lover and baby my babies, but I dont like to buy from breeders....I spend a lot of money on the health and happiness of my dogs, so I cant spend a lot on getting them.

go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and the breed wanted, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.....I recently adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!.....check it out.....try it.....adopt a Small Yorkie or other small dog today !!!.....good luck to you, in your search for a Small Yorkie or other small dog as a new pet !!!!.....most adoptions run between $ 50 to $ 200 maximum, for a wonderfull dog, that will be very happy to be your new pet !!!

You can always go to rescue a yorkie .. many areas have yorkies that are in need of adoption.. some sick and some very healthy just scared at what life has done to them.. go to google type in yorkie rescue. You say you spend money on their health well the money you put in for these dogs goes to the Health care they have recieved and will recieve in the futer...

I have a Yorkie..out of all the dogs I have had in my 82 years I think they are the greatest. You won't need a burglar alarm. these guys can hear a chicken Poop, and they bark ;lioke there was no tomorrow. You shudn't have to look too hard, A lot of newsppers run adds for all kinds of animals for sale. If you are near a large city, look in the back pages...lots of luck...you are definitely a man or lady after my own heart

Hi there. Your subject question line caught my eye. I was just hoping that you don't really put your dogs in a purse type carrier, but instead let them be happy and be dogs by walking on their own. I would say like for Halloween or just once in awhile would not be too hurtful, but remember we as owners are pack leaders, and that our little/big one's are our pack from having 1 to 100. Pack leaders of wild dogs never carried their pack in a purse, everyone walked to get their food, water and shelter.
If you really want a pocketbook dog like you are asking, you can get them at WalMart or Target. But, if you want to rescue one please call your local Humane Society. Thank you and good luck.

As breeders give out lots of stud fee and care also the health check, microchip, vacc for the puppies as well~
I am never believe people said they will give out great care when they don't want to pay anything for a puppy~

Sorry to tell you, but people charge a lot of money for little dogs. Even mixed breed dogs. It must be because a lot of people like small dogs.

ask your Vet. There is probrably a yorkshire society like with most loved pure breds. there is a protective group to make sure none go orphan or euthanized. REAL
