DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE.
Millions of Chihuahuas are dying in shelters everyday. Just because you find homes for all of your pups, doesn't mean they will keep the home all their lives.
We don't need anymore dogs, we have too many now.

A 7 to 8 pound chihuahua sounds huge. If you combine these two dogs, you may get a smaller dog than the mother, but probably the puppies will be somewhere around 5 to 6 lbs.

You should only a breed a smaller male to a bigger female. To protect the health and life of the female. The size of the puppies is all in the genetics of the puppy. But as a rule of thumb they shouldn't be any bigger than there mother.

confident - if the male is purely too vast it could reason problems with whelping. she will want a c-section to grant or maybe then issues can bypass incorrect. i'm guessing it is her first warmth? That too is undesirable - she isn't totally developed or matured. There are too many stuff going against a secure clutter - have her spayed NOW. maximum vets will do an emergency spay/abort. it ought to save her existence.

It's very likley. It really depends on the Dam's size. Pups normally take after the mother more than the father. If you had 7 pups, I would say about 3 would be like the dad.

Yes, but no assurances. The small dogs are a result of lots of inbreeding...often giving very undesirable traits of nervousness, hip problems. Are you sure you want to take the chance????
