My dog is not walking normally without predazone and I'm a bit worried after reading how toxic this drug can be. Does anyone know of any alternatives? She's a 14yo Doberman.

Dog(s) will be outside in large garden a lot of the time. I need to convince wife that two will mean less scratching at door / digging up plants etc

We have just added a 3 month old Beagle puppy to the household.
How does one train it to use outside to relieve itself.
We have looked around to buy a book on the subject but no luck up to now!!!!!

Sorry if this has been asked for many times. My puppy is hospitalised at the moment, the vet said he's likely to pull through. The question is, will my puppy catch parvo again if he survives? the vet didnt give me a clear answer (doh). From what i've gathered from websites, parvo can be caught again and some websites say my pup will be immune to it for life. My family has a lot of children I cannot prevent them from touching my pup during my absence (you cannot be sure your house is thoroughly disinfected) And the last question is :- will plain yogurt help restoring the damage intestinal tract? Apparently my wallet is totally drained, I cant afford any more probiotic shots ;( I need an extra job! And yes, I will get my pup vaccinated once it recovered. thanks.

I run an animal shelter for rescued dogs and cats. This place is infested with ticks and I just don't know how to eradicate the problem without using commercial chemical which can be harmful to all 200 dogs here.

My yorkie is an indor furball. he absolutely HATES going outside. (this if for you who will say to take him outside). when i do, he walks 5 feet and then he pulls back and wants right back inside. i have to problem ith that as he goes potty on a wee wee pad in the balcony. (it's acctually more convenient for me during the cold, hot, or rainy days). i have a bit house so otherwise he gets plenty of exercise

but i was just wondering if he is less likely to get fleas if he's indoors like 97% of the time.

particles. Only after he SEES me put fresh water, does he drink. is that normal? cause sometimes when i'm gone, particles do fall in there, and he doesn't drink.

I have seen people do this saying they make sure it is a fresh flush, and the dog gets cold water. I still worry about a dogs health when I hear about this.

I must do a 28 day inpatient drug rehab program. I am worried about leaving my dog. We are together 24/7. He trusts only me and listens to only me. He has other human friends that will be looking after him. Should I be so worried he will not respond to me as he does now?

Below are my questions:
1.What are the potential dangers of adopting adult Rottweiler?
2.Is it hard for the Rottweiler to recognise the new owner and accept his leadership?
3.Will the Rottweiler be kind to the children of this new family?

My family have experienced in handling dogs (GSD, JRT & MinPin). Most of them are small pet (except GSD), but I still respect Rottweiler, and feel that I should not assume that it is an easy pet.

Moreover, Rottweiler is a strong dog, and I wish to know more about the character, as well as behaviour before I start to have one.

Those with experience, please help.

Regards

I read that we will need to teach our German Shepherd that he is last in rank, omega, and we are ahead of him, rank wise. How do we teach him to understand that he is last in rank? Thanks.

I have a pomeranian that just refuses to shut up. He barks at people, cars, birds, leaves, basically anything in general.
He is extremely hyper and loves to play fetch and go for walks.
He thinks he's really hardcore, until a bigger dog gets too close.
