You guys get over this animal abuse. my puppy is well loved and cared for.. I dont live in the U.S. where i come from she is and always will be a shephard dog ( hence the name german shephard) These dogs are made for cold weather and love it. My qestion was not about humanity but about what is healthy for my puppy.

She needs a blanket in her dog house, and to be brought inside when it is under 35 degrees..

Yes,but make sure the door is off-set(to the side) and facing south or southeast.Use straw or cedar shavings as bedding(blankets get wet )and put some sort of cover over the door(a flap or a heavy blanket).Increase her food intake and please have her spayed-she'll be coming into heat soon and you don't want her getting pregnant. Also make sure her shots are up to date. You might reconsider letting her stay inside ,though.I have three large dogs, including a shepherd in my not -so -large house and they are very well-behaved;you just have to get through that puppy stage, and indoor puppies are better socialised, and get more attention.

Hi...if you was to put a dog outside you should have done this in the summer so that as the weather gets colder the dogs coat grows in thickness to combat the weather...when a dog is raised indoors it's coat is in accordance with the warmth of your home..So not a good idea to put the dog out at this stage...sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear but I try only to give facts...

Yes, it would be okay. Just keep a blanket inside. During colder weather, add straw for extra warmth. If possible, during freezing temps, bring in the dog, at least during the night.

Why get a big dog if your place is 2 small for her?
I don't agree with dog's sleeping outside full stop.

Never..why get a dog if you are just going to dump it outside. In some states that is conerned inhumane and abuse.
