Gross. Why does my dog like to lick my toes when I have athletes foots?

I know, this is gross.

Occassionally, I get a mild case of athletes foot. (Only on the outer toes of my left foot. I don't know why). My dog sense that I have the condition and will lick and chew on my toes.

It grosses my wife out, but I love it.

What breed of dog makes great in house pets?

Im moving into some new apartments and I was wondering what would be the best kind of small dog to get, my mom has a shi tzu and she seems to be a great in house dog, I need something pretty quiet, but a good protector, good with kids and gentle.

Is vitamin K for dogs the same as for humans?

My vet has prescribed vitamin K for my dogs but it's $50 a bottle from the vet, GNC has vitamin K for $5.95 a bottle, can I give my dogs the vitamin K from GNC instead of getting it from the vet?

Why do dogs howl? My neighbors dog howls all the time- it makes me really sad I am afraid something is wrong -

My husband thinks he is just lonely, I am worried but I don't want to confront my neighbor and I can't see the dog's kennel to know if he is skinny or what is wrong!!

dog bit other dog?

My two collie/husky mixes got in a fight and the one got bit on the top of her head and she has a hole there now about the size of a kidney bean and I can see her skull through it!!! It's not bleeding and it doesn't seem to bother her. Will she be alright til tomorrow when I can get her in to my vet? They're all closed now and I left messages but no one's called back yet. HELP!!

How can i get my puppy to become more playful?

I got a puppy yesterday. She is a lab mix around 12 weeks old or so. When i picked her out she was playful and all, now that I am home she has not shown any signs of that. She had lived outside since birth, but i am keepin her indoors. She is pretty much staying in a corner or behind my couch. Any ideas on how i can get her to not be so scared??

Could someone have bent my pomeranian's tail?

We bought our pom from a pet store about 5 1/2 years ago and when we bought him, we noticed that the tip of his tail was bent in a 90 degree angle. I was wondering if this could have been done to make his tale curl over his back. It makes me sad to think that someone could have done that. Then I wonder if my pom came from a puppy mill. I was clueless about puppy mills until recently.
