Mine is called Tilly - but she also answers to Ratbag.

I've met a dog called Deefur & another called Scrubber (apparently because the owner was tickled at the thought of being able to yell 'Scrubber' in the park ... !!)

I've remembered some joke names too:

Handyman - because he does little jobs around the house
Carpenter - because he does big jobs around the house
Joiner - because everytime you shout at him he makes a bolt for the door

My favourite name was that of an Irish Setter dog - he was called Dooley.

What name would I give my dog?

Well I have a Dalmatian dog called Bekha. I didn't chose it though, my parents did. It is spelt differently because we wanted to make it unusual. It is usually spelt Bekka.
If i were to get my own dog I would call her... Carla or Carly. I don't know what I would call a male dog, they are harder to name.
