Hi, If he is only throwing up right after he eats it may be the food. If he is throwing up even when his stomach is empty then he needs to see a vet. I have to Boston terriers and they go through spells of vomiting. the process my vet makes me go through is first no food or water for 8 hours. Then start feeding the dog about 1/2 a cup of boiled rice every 3 or 4 hours (depending if dog is a large breed give more rice) after 24 hours then you can give rice with boiled hamburger just throw the hamburger in boiling water till cooked. remain on this diet for 24 hours. Now instead of hamburg give his dog food with the rice. If he starts throwing up again its his food and you may need one made for dogs with a sensitive somache. I hope I helped good luck!

Try giving him some Cheerios cereal and see if he will keep it down, if he does then you will need to change the brand of food you are feeding him. Like people, dogs don't always like what is put in front of them and you may need to experiment with other brands until you find one that he really likes and can keep down. If he continues to throw up all his food, he may have a blockage and should see a vet for further evaluation and don't forget to tell the vet the names of all the different brands that you tried to feed your dog, including the cereal. You may also want to try to give him a couple pieces of bread to see if he can keep that down as well. Good Luck

He may be eating too fast. Try slowing him down when he eats and hand feed him small amounts. Also if you've switched foods all of the sudden without "weaning" it can cause him to be sick. If it's not the food/eating then call the vet. Also, my vet recommended either a tablespoon of Pepto or plain vanilla yogurt for an upset tummy...worked like a charm. If none of those work then your vet will suggest things or tell you to come in for an exam. Good luck!

Definately need to take the dog to the vet, especially if the dog has not received any shots.

Take him/her to the vet ASAP. You might get lucky and it just be worms. But it could also be parvo especially if it has diarrhea also. If it is parvo, hopefully you'll be catching it early and your dog will have a better chance of making it through.

Thats totally normal. My 3 dogs did the same thing. Its just that you might want to go see a vet because im not sure what to besides hand feed your dog but that gets old!!!

Sounds like he needs to go to a vet. Did you think he may have worms. They can get them. It is just normal. All dogs get them. They can get them from their mother.

Take him to the vet...it could be lots of things. He could have eaten plants, rocks, plastic anything harmful to him. He could also have worms. Need a checkup. Good luck & sorry to hear that.

you may want to change his food. Some dogs can't deal with the greases in the food.
