My dog and I have been traveling quite alot lately and she seems to take an hour to poop and it is a small amount for a 60 pound dog. I can tell she is working hard for it to happen but there is no results to speak of. She is eating well and drinking well.

i have recently moved house, in the same town and my dog continues to escape and run back top my previous home. He is currently staying at my parents, in what i thougth was a secure backyard, while i get the new house ready but he manages to find a way out. It appears that he is looking for me as when i am home he needs no fence and will not go anywhere. any suggestions, i would hate for him to be hit by a car or stolen.

Unfortunately, there is no way I can swing $380 per month. I was told that there really are not other allergy drugs for dogs. The other options are Benadryl which only masks the condition and steroids which are not safe for long term use. My dog was on 15 days of steroids which made a huge difference, but now for the long term my vet recommended the Atopica. Has anyone heard of any other allergy drugs for dogs?

I just opened a new bag of my dogs treats "Tender TBon'z" (steak flavor) and it smells so delicious. But i tried just a small section and it was disgusting... Why is the smell so appealing to us but tastes disgusting... and why do dogs go crazy for them?

Ok. I have a pregnant standard Dachshund who is having puppies for her first time. She is close to giving birth to her babies, and I want to be extremely prepared just incase something serious goes wrong. Could someone tell me what they think I need. It would help very much.

Thanks

my 5 month old hound/lab mix has this bald spot on her thigh that started out small, and is now getting bigger. There are some signs of redness, or a slight pinkish coloration on her skin and when it first started out, i felt a tiny little bump near that area... anybody have any ideas what it is?? i am pretty sure she's biting it, there is the only explanation, but why???
