I dont know the name or type of breed that it is. The only description that I have is that it really looks like a bear cub. I really want to buy it but I need the name, if anyone knows what I'm talking about I would really appreciate it.

That would be a Chow-Chow.
A word of caution though, I love Chow's but they are also known as the unpredictbul Chow. They can snap at any second with kids. Luv them to death but it's the truth.

A chow chow looks a little like a bear.Chow chows have dark coloured tongues(kinda blue) do you mean those?Other dogs that looka little like a bear cub when they are puppies are some very large dog breeds like the st bernard or a newfoundland.

There is a new tv show called OFF THE LEASH on LIFETIME TELEVISION that has one of these little dogs as a contestant for a possible movie/commercial.. its name is LOLA ... what an adorable little brown dog, with the dearest face and shape..........I dont believe its a chow........maybe someone else can name the particular breed.........please someone, let the rest of us know what breed it is!!!!!!!!!!! sharon T. from oHIo

The Chow Chow really looks like a bear...literally a wild adult bear (their faces are very alike). But if you are looking for the cute little cub face...it may not be the Chow. I think the Teddybears are just too cute....extremely cute.
