I have a pomeranian that just refuses to shut up. He barks at people, cars, birds, leaves, basically anything in general.
He is extremely hyper and loves to play fetch and go for walks.
He thinks he's really hardcore, until a bigger dog gets too close.

8 year old Lab/Border Collie.

Bane of my 4-H club for YEARS. Knows every possible exit from a show ring. Has exited on various occasions mid-pattern in obedience classes. Had to be dragged around for the first few obedience classes till she decided to walk. Used to jump *through* windows to chase cats. Believes it her born right to live indoors, on the couch. Very jealous, big time alpha dog. Star of her own book. Loves running outdoors for hours at a time. Has killed lots of small animals, but defended by rabbits for hours from a neighbor dog. Very good guard dog.. once someone is already in the house. Scared of the mailman. Used to hate stairs, so she'd slide down them on her belly. Believes it her natural right to have the passenger's seat in any car, any time, any situation. Excellent at running off for a few hours, but returning. Once dug up my math teacher's newly planted flowers, on one such excursion. Current 4-H club model dog. Gratefully retired from 4-H now.

We have Syd - a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He only has 3 legs, but it doesn't stop him running about like a nutter.

When we come home from work he'll run around our legs until we stop and then he'll flop over onto his back so we can rub his belly.

He'll play with his chewy like a mad dog and then chew on it for ten minutes before starting again.

He'll lie next to me on the sofa all evening snoring away until bed time and then he'll be hyper for half an hour.

We've only had him a month, but we love him dearly.

I have a chihuhua who barks at EVERYTHING and everyone. I finally bought one of those things with the alarms that go off when they bark consisitenly..it works and his barking has cut down a lot. He loves to go bye bye but kisses me when I am driving down the highway. He's not much on being around other dogs. He's very jealous. He REFUSES all dog food and pet treats. he won't play with dog toys. He loves human food. He is the KING of my house and when he says jump..I say how high? Of course, if he spoke, I wouldn't be around to jump. LOL.

I have a bichon frize (dog) whom i just rescued from an abusive owner. He loves to jump up and down whenever i take him for a walk. I just have to be carefull because he hasnt seen a single human soul other than his owner and no other peer dogs, so he usually cross the road to meet them ( my neighbour is pretty congested with cars). But over time, i hope he will be better bevhaved until then i just have to control his hyper active behavior. So far, he's doing ok and he is a quick learner.

My yorkie barks at black shoes. I think it started when my daughter had on some clunkly loud boots and was playing chase with him in the kitchen. My husband wears black shoes to work and everytime he leaves the house he runs after his feet and barks. I have a pair of black boots that I wore last week when I went out and he did the same thing. It is so funny.

i have a great toy poodle. she hardly ever barks. for whatever reason she will not eat her food unless someone is home, she will go for hours before she would eat alone! she generally has to be touching someone or darn close. she also will not go down our steps in the house (it is carpet) but she will go up them.
i tell her she is goofy all the time by the things she does (or dont do) she has a toy hamburger that she likes to play with, started to tear apart so i bought her a new one but she still prefers the old.

One of my cats will sit outside the bathroom door (even when the door is open) while you shower & talk a lot.

My girl cat won't pee where all the boys do in the litterbox so she does it in the bath drain.

The kitten just loves the printer, he hears it start up & just flys in from the other end of the house to watch the paper go through it.

I have 6 y/o Chocolate Lab that is the sweetest dog on earth. She lets our kids tug on her ears, wrestle with her, lay their heads on her belly and she never gets angry or has never snapped at them. She also is persistent about getting proper attention and will nudge your hand, if you aren't petting her. Also, she still acts like a puppy despite her age! She's the best pet we've ever had.
