I love what these creatures stand for and feel a bond, and longing to be-friend one; I've read much of them and their unbreakable nature; what I fear & feel concerned is that I will have a caged animal that will grow frustrated & lash-out; has anyone own one? Have you had any trouble? :about licensing, attacks, etc. Would the pair be best? I was thinking on getting a male. I would appreciate some insight. Thanks.

My husband and I are booking our trip home for Christmas. We are dying to take our year old maltese puppy but are scared to death since she can be really hyper and will probably bark alot. Since it is Christmas time I know we will not be able to get a flight that is not packed. I thought about contacting her vet and seeing if they would approve some kind of sedative but after reading online it looks like the vet community frowns on that. I will not let her ride in cargo, she has to fly with me. Anyone have any suggestions? I would appreciate anything. Thanks!

My husky as always been a friendly dog to everyone. Lately it has become protective over my baby brother who is only six months old. When ever we have company our dog is always by his side, and never lets him out of it's sight. When our company leaves our dog will leave my brother's side and goes it's own way. So far it has only been acting that way when it's people that rarely come to our house. Should we be worried and if so is there anyway to stop it from being so protective.

On our back porch we have a deck table that is right in front of our kitchen window, well yesterday my puppy Trouser decided he didn't want to wait by the back door to be let in so he decided he would get up on the table so he could look in at us so we would let him in. it was so funny because our other dog Rusty just looked at him like he was crazy & we couldn't believe he had got up there in the first place,

do you have anything weird like this?

why do you have the urge to rename your mongrel/crossbreed/mut these ridiculous names e.g labradoodle, pugalier, Boxerdoodle, Doodleman Pinscher e.t.c get a grip stop trying to make your mutt sound like some exotic designer dog breed if you want to tell people you have a particular breed get a pedigree if you dont want a pedigree say you have a crossbreed

I have a 4 year old cairn terrier that I have had since she was a puppy. And she always barks when she hears noises outside but lately it's gotten worse. Every time a car door closes, people walk by, voices, she starts to bark like crazy. And her bark is more like an howl, and it's gotten to a point that she'll start barking at a noise at like 3'oclock in the morning. How can I get her to stop?? When she starts doing it I say "Stop" or "No" and she looks at me and lets out a couple more barks then stops. How can I get her to not start at all??
