We have a new Sheltie...19 months old male...that is marking everying in sight. He'll be neutered next week. Will that help?

It is not a sure thing to stop it with neutering. I know someone who had her male fixed and it did not stop. She ended up using belly bands or diapers on him to keep him from marking in the house.

Having him neutered should help but may not fix the problem.
How many other dogs do you have?
What sex are they?
He could be marking becasue he is trying to stake out terriotry in your home for himself among the others.
Some males are very hard to break nad people will use the belly bands or diapers on them to make them stop.
Depends on the dog. Neutering will make it easier to fix the problem

Neutering usually does the trick! Good luck!

Yes ///// just hold tight as the neutering will help considerably. I have never had problems with ANY of my dogs because they were ALL either neutered or spayed. Good luck and do not blame the dog please

Neutering will end it.
