Or do you feed packaged dog foods and treats? Or both?

I've never cooked for a dog myself, but I found a fairly extensive cookbook (over 100 recipes) that's free to download and says it may be copied and given away - http://necessaryvirtues.com/recommends/dog-recipes

Some of the treats look kind of interesting, like Liver Brownies and Turkey Treats, but I'm not sure they're inspiring enough to make me want to expend the time.

So, do you cook for your dog(s)? Do you think the dogs know the difference? Do you have a favorite recipe to share?

His father (full maltese) was easy peasy and was trained by 8 weeks. This little guy is 4 months old and he is still having issues (although, I CAN see progress, he just doesn't 'ask' to go outside). This morning he peed on my bed! Is it possible that he has a bladder infection or something physically wrong with him? If so, what symptoms should I look for?

She is an 8 mo. old lab mix and she was paper trained by the foster family. We are having a hard time getting her to realize that she isn't to go on the floor. We have verbally given her our displeasure when she wets and moves her bowels on the floor. She seems to know she did wrong, but we can't seem to break her. When she does well, we reward her with treats and praise. We cannot afford formal training, so we are not sure where we are going wrong. We had a dog before and she seemed to get trained pretty quick. Our schedule has been scattered(which I see as a problem)but now everyone is back on track. She will be crate trained during the day, so I have to assume that will regulate her trips outside? She also gets very distracted by everything outside and forgets why she is outside. We live in an apartment house, so isolation is a problem. She is still also very hyper. Am I asking too much of an 8 mo. old dog?? HELP! Serious answers only please. Thank you

I think this dog is banned in England, but they are still around. Unless there are complaints from the public, the dog will not be arrested and executed (probably summarily and without trial without committing an offence like killing and eating little children).

I have a 3 year old boxer. Since he was a pup, he has been sleeping on the bed. i started off letting him sleep on the bed so he would wake me when he had to poo or pee. Now that he's older, he doesn't want to break the habit. It is my fault i know, but now i am in a relationship and it is hard for us to get comfortable because he likes to be right up against us all the time... and a queen size bed is not the best for 3 bodies.

I have an Italian Greyhound and plan to breed him with another. Question came up, will the dogs feel attachments to one another afterwards? Both dogs are very gentle and affectionate and bonds with humans very easily. Once they mate will they missed one another after?

My daughter and I want to get a puppy. My dad had labs when I was a kid, and they have always been my favorite dog. I just want to be sure they are good for children. If anyone has any other suggestions for large breeds that are good for children, please let me know.
