High levels of glucose can lead to a number of complications such as cataracts, liver and kidney disease, increased infections, heart disease, gastrointestinal disorders and even coma and death. Get him to a vet to check his glucose levels.

There was once i hear people saying, if you feed your dog salt, their fur will fall non-stop. If you feed your dog with sugar they will die early, which means sugar will shorten the dog's life.

You could better stop doing it. Bring him to a vet immediately if the vomit continue.

HI Liz, Your should never give your pet sugar. It's not good for us enough, but we use it anyway. The sweet potato was way to rich for his system. If he isn't better by morning, call your vet and tell him what you feed your dog,and take it from there.
