This is a common, normal behavior in males and females. It is a way to show dominance over another pack member. The behavior should be discouraged when done to people.

well if she is the only dog that you have and you treat her like a princess then it may be a way of dominance. Just like when two male dog start humping ti doesn't mean that your dog is gay it just means the one on top is the dominnant one of the pack or family.

because shes trying to show you who's boss... usually when a dog humps it means that they're being dominant.
