the dog is half blind because of cattaracts and had just been examined by my vet for the first time he was on a short lead and the two children were in the vets surgery running around him! is there no such thing as parental responsibilty? do you not expect to find sick and injured animals in the vets who might be under stress and could possibly bite an excitable unaccompanied child?

I have a 3 year old virgin mini dachshund she started bleeding last august 23. Some says she should be stud on the 10th day some says on the 14th day. When is the best day should she be stud? How many days before she give birth? How many puppies should I expect?

My dog is a bulldog named Turbo (he's turbocharged). My husband and I love cars so we named our other dog Dena after the ferrari 360 Modena.

Again - if you don't like the question please don't answer it.

I have a 3 1/2 month old Pit Bull. I've been trying to crate train her, especially during the night. A couple of nights ago AND last night she pooped in the crate. Any suggestions, advice, stories you can share to help me with Zoey would be greatly appreciated!!!

I am interested in getting a dog for the family. I really want a Shepard since they seem very intellegent and friendly. What is best for an outside dog who is protective and great with children? Oh and where can I get the larger breed of Shepard or the true German-German Shepard breed? Only in Germany??

the last couple of times i've left her she's chewed the door frame. Literally eaten the wood and chewed it to bits! I always leave her fresh water, toys, her bed, and a ball filled with treats to keep her occupied. How do i stop her eating her way through the woodwork? And please don't suggest crate training, it's not an option.she's 10 months old.

Up until three days ago we had five cats. Three nights ago two of them were killed. Night before last, another, dead. We determined that a Dog had attacked them.

So, last night I stayed up until about 3 am, sitting on the porch with my 12 guage shotgun waiting for the murderer to return. The murderer never showed. But during that time, my Golden and I sat there, silently.

It dawned on me that maybe he was the killer. Sure, he acts like he's all sweet and innocent, but maybe it's all a big scam to confuse? After all, this dog is smart. He gets really jealous when I pet the cats and up until they started getting murdered, I never really petted them. Something changed in me and I have started petting the cats, but now, there are only two left and I haven't even seen one of them today, so far.

It dawned on me that my beloved Shadow could be the killer. Have any of you ever caught your "so sweet" Golden killing animals out of jealousy?
