Although in larger quantities marijuana may cause depression, vomiting, and respiratory problems, in small quantities, "Marijuana is not bad for dogs in the sense that it will harm them," says Dr. Steven Radbill, co-author of "The Complete Book of Questions Dog Owners Ask Their Vet and the Answers," and owner of the Radbill Animal Hospital in Philadelphia. "But, like people, marijuana would probably make some dogs lose some of their judgment.
"Dogs can act very bizarre under it," he continued. "People call me in the middle of the night and don't say what happened, but I know what is going on, because they say their dog has fallen out of the bed, is acting really weird, vocalizing, and his eyes are dilated."
Still, he says marijuana isn't a good idea for dogs psychologically because, "the dog doesn't realize what's happening to him. Cats wouldn't have as strong a reaction because they're used to their catnip

If your puppy really ate marijuana then it could be serious. Doggies who eat marijuana will not find the effects very pleasant - some get really scared because they don't know what's happening to them. You should take it to a doctor so it can be monitored for the next 8 hours or so, just in case. Depending on the amount it may not be that bad. But you want your puppy to be okay, right? In that case, off to the doctor or vet hospital. Be responsible though, I hope you are not getting in your car after using that stuff - did you use any?. You may have to ask someone else to drive.

Hopefully, he'll just want to nap, or be slightly confused and have the same effects as you do when you're "high." Don't leave your "stash" around again... it ain't nice... imagine, if that were a child...? You could get arrested, no? "Child endangerment" or something like that... well, it's a puppy... and... aw, never mind; don't leave your stash around like that again.
Let the puppy sleep it off (HOW much of a stash did he eat? Not too much, I hope... sheesh...! He may get an upset tummy and up-chuck, and depending on the amount he may just "pass out." Our canine and feline friends often eat grass, the other kind... the lawn... to get rid of indegestion and they induce vomiting... seems like a natural thing for them every now and then, expecially when their diets need fiber... see that he's not going into some wierd convulsion and be careful it doesn't happen again... sheesh, man!)

Don't worry about it. The dog will have nothing more than a tummyache, if even that much. THC does not have an effect unless heated - that's why people smoke it rather than eat it (and when they bake with it, there are techniques of releasing the THC before putting it into the food). Puppy should be just fine.

It's just a plant, after all. I'd watch my puppy and monitor breathing, etc. If I noticed any problems, I would take the puppy to the veterinarian. Maybe you wouldn't even have to mention what the puppy ate, just be ambiguous, and say, I think my puppy may have gotten into the (kitchen, bathroom, some other area of the house where chemicals, etc. may be located) and eaten something.

1) take it to the vet immediatly
2) why the heck would a dog even be able to find marijuana? Someone should find a higher place to stash it away from their pooch.

If it wasnt to much dont worry about it cuz once they are hooked they will keep stealing it. Otherwise go to the vet and tell the vet point blank your dog got into your stash and can they do anything to help the puppy through it

Marijuana is very toxic for dogs, specially for a puppy. Your dog may go into shock, vomit or have diarrhea. if severe you should take it to a vet for it may cause it to have health problems later in life.

He should be offered tasty treats and rock and roll music to eat by. You should sit with him and listen to his senseless verbalizations. Perhaps you should smoke a joint or two and make an afternoon of it. You could have snacks and perhaps a knap after too.
