My Britanny will sleep in my one year old sons room and when he does something as simple as rolling over....she will come in and wake me up....never my wife...always me...and she won't leave me alone until I get up and check on my son....it is a good thing that she is very protective of him but sometimes it gets really old. One night I tried to keep her in our room so I would not get woke up but all she did was wine until I let her out to go to his room.

i love the picture of my avatar of Andy and Eleanor, they quite do get alongside so nicely. Years in the past I had a ferret and then I were given a sheltie puppy. If the puppy performed too hard with the ferret, the ferret would pull the shelties hair through his ears. once the puppy did something incorrect and he merely all started crying so the ferret doesn't pull his hair. It change into gorgeous. Animals have a fashion of operating some issues out, yet in the journey that they get too hard, you should step in and desirable that. We had an collection of pets over the years, they alter into each and every others %., you should coach them that.

My teacup Yorkie Bunny doesn't want to do ANYTHING but play fetch with her little blue spider/stuffed animal. She can play for 5 hours straight and still be going without an end in sight! And what she does is instead of bringing the toy to you, she will set it about 3 to 5 feet away from you and then come and sit next to you and stare until you get up to get it. But when you get up and she realizes that you are going for her toy she will try to race you to it! She wins most of the time cause she is so d@mn fast, sometimes its annoying but it's pretty funny when you watch her do it to someone else. I have never seen a dog do that before. It's like she has some kinda of competitive thing going on between her and everyone that plays with her. And what I said about her only wanting to play fetch... it's like she doesn't want to play for herself, it almost seems like she thinks that we NEED to play fetch, like she is our mother and making each one of us get our exercise and play fetch because when one person throws it a few times then she takes it to the next person, and if someone who she hasn't "deemed their turn" throws it she won't go get it. It has to be the person she picks out. She's a tough one.

My dog likes to wake up with a jog....everymornign she stretches and does kinda a half loop around the living room at a medium paced walk. She then goes right back to bed.
Also once..she pooped on the coffee table.

Yeah my dog is smarter than I want to admit. She is a husky and very smart. I have trained her to give high fives, shake hands to say hello, lay down on command. This dog has a square bowl with toys in it for her. When she wants to play she sits in front of me and when I ask her what she wants she tilts her head to one side to let me know I got the question right, anyways, if she wants to play, I tell her to get a toy, she will go get a toy of hers, but if I tell her to get her ball, she immediately goes over to her box and picks out her ball. One more thing I had taught her, I kept on her and she does it, she pees on command which is totally funny but she does it.

oh ya. Gracie will jump on the outdoor table when we are out there and she wants to relax instead of play. I also have a couple of pups that will hide their toys so the others can't have them and get them when they want it. To top it off I also have a great companion in Little Gracie as she is my service dog and alerts me to coming problems

My dog sings the birthday song. He taught himself. After several years of multiple birthday parties being hosted in our home, apparently he felt that the people shouldn't be the only ones to sing. Now he starts barking when people start singing and stops as soon as we do. People usually don't believe it when I tell them about it, but everyone is always amazed when they finally see it for themselves.

My teddy bear can sit in a chair and hold me at night. Pretty amazing for a stuffed animal.
