hi, i hope someone can help me,. My moms 3 yeard old springer spaniel is in recovery after suffering quite bad meningitis. He is finally back home and is on a lot of tablets that i do not know the name of. He is slowly getting back to normal except one big problem; he cant urinate on his own anymore. This means that my mom and dad have to empty his bladder three times a day using a catheter. The vet said he should be urinating on his own by now and he is showing some signs of wanting to goe, but he doesnt actually go through with it.. I would really appreciate some advice on how to encourage him to go on his own.

My dog is walking like and old person..lol..she is having diareaa evryday really bad....she lies down in my granma's blanket.....she ate 1 little piece of roast beef when this happened.....WHATS WRONG??She is a 1 yr old chihuahua

I have a black Lab (pure bread) and she is terrified of the water hose when we try to bathe her post swimming in the bay or in a lake.

I know this is a result of some trauma we gave her when she was younger.

My question is does anyone have any good stragegies to helping her get over this fear?

my dog(4y) sometimes makes a lot of noise when we leave him alone.this doesn't make us very popular on our street. and i aways leave home feeling really bad. we've tried nearly everything- leaving lights on, music, a t-shirt...but nothings helped. i just don't understand why he only makes a fuss sometimes!? any hints what we can do. i can't go on like this- whenever i leave for work or go out by myself i feel like i'm comitting a sin! please help!

fleas are so bad, tried borax, tried flea floor powder, tried flea spray, tried dawn dish liquid. tried the vet also. nothing works

8 puppies fleas crawl in there eyes its so sad. what do i do??

will flea spary hurt them this young? i put a little on each pup last night and today they dont have any fleas on them, will they be okay???

how often should i put it on them like how much is too much??

long story short, she ran away thru a hole she dug, i think, and the people who have her deny that they have her and i think i know they have her so basically i dono. they better take good care of her.

some stupid filipino or chinese people i dono...

my dog is a rotwiler germen sherpard mix and he has been scraching him self uncontrolably.His skin is now like a weid almost purple color and he has sores all over his body.he will wake up from a soud sleep and eather start to lick or itch him self. Annie is 18 months old, has three dog beds, does not lay on rough floors, no licking of the elbows. Noticed the redness about 3 weeks ago. Started applying Neosporin. I read the answers to "Hot Spots" and this does not seem like that. Any ideas? or Is this normal?

Hi! I adopted a pom mix from our local shelter a week ago. At first when I'd take him out for a walk he'd go crazy if he saw another dog; barking, lunging, all that jazz. Now that he's gotten to know a few dogs he does great on the approach and seems happy and eager to see them. But after they've played for a few minutes and it's time to continue with the walk he goes back to his old ways. Obedience training will hopefully help things, but we don't start for a few more weeks. What can I do until then so that other dog owners don't think my new little one is a bad dog?
