The normal life span 12 to 15 years. No real health issues. Owned beagles for years. They are active dogs. And they will wander if allowed to be outside loose. Its just their nature. They need a energetic owner who give them plenty of exercise. I have found pups do tend to be chewers. Chew up shoes ,toys, furniture legs ect.

Cancer is a big one. Beagles tend to have a lot of eye problems. And some old dogs that are overweight tend to have back problems. But back problems aren't a big thing since the beagle is a medium size dog. They do tend to howl a lot, which isn't really an aging problem, but it is annoying. Idid some research on beagles for a girl and for my beagle, but that was really all that I found.

Beagles have a lifespan of 12-15 years. They do have health issues:
Health Problems
Some lines can be prone to heart disease, epilepsy, eye and back problems. Also prone to chondroplasia, aka dwarfism (warped front legs, like a Basset's).
