She is positive on ultrasound for puppies. She is already getting big, but no milk from breasts.

We did try to keep our male away. She had stopped flagging when we put her back with the other dogs and the male paid her no attention, so we are unsure of the day she bred.

You could have her xrayed. After 45 days the puppies skeletons will show up on an xray. They can be bred about 10-14 days after first coming into heat, so if you know when that was, then you can take a guess from that time. They're pregnant about 63 days.

How can she not seem like a responsible dog owner by simply asking a question like that?
One can only hope you do not have any pets.

I am a vet tech as well and the ultrasound should've been able to give you some idea as to how far along she is.

Good luck!

Your vet should be able to give you a good estimate as too how far along she is, especially since she had an ultrasound.

Feel her lower abdomine for any movements from the puppies. If they are pretty down low, she's not too far. If they are higher up, then she's farther along

You know the week she was in heat so it was during that 10 day period!
