Our large dog plays very roughly with our smaller dog. She grabs the smaller dog by the back of the neck and doesn't release him. We're worried the smaller dog will be injured. The smaller dog wants to play but yelps in pain sometimes. How can we let them play, but not endanger our smaller dog?

I have a four year old mixed breed who is very tempramental. I'm considering another getting another dog, but my mixed breed gets jealous of other dogs in the house. He almost bit my friend's puppy. What should I do? Any suggestions on how to make my dog less aggressive?

Im vegetarian so cans of dog food freak me out. I was borrowing a friends dog so I bought her a couple chicken thighs and she ate them whole bones and all. Now my GF tells me that chicken bones are like tiny trees and they will snag on her digestive track and rip her open!

OMG! What should I do? Should I call 911 for pets? What is that #? Will 911 know the #?

I have 2 Dachunds. One is Sniped and the other isn't. We have a doggie door and the Un-Sniped one growls at the Sniped one and doesn't allow him to come through the doggie door. Even when it rains (especially when it rains) he will not let him come through the door. I think it's because he is the dominant one (w/nuts) and the other isn't (w/o nuts).

I am sheltering my first rescue and he marks his territory a lot and has problems when he sees/hears my cat. Will having him neutered help w/this? How else is it beneficial other than the reproduction thing?

*I may keep him if he can learn to tolerate my cat.

My dog will not stop drinking water. This has never been tried, I am not cruel to my dog, but to give you an idea of the severity, if provided an unlimited supply of water, she would drink until she vomits, then would begin drinking again. To give some background, she is a 45 - 50 lb. Boxer that was rescued from Arizona (I live in Ohio.) There is a really good chance she was abused by the previous owner. The vet said she is fine, no diseases or anything. My thinking is that it is psychological, I'm assuming that she was not given water often combined with Arizona's climate made her dehydrated and craving water. I believe she thinks when given water she must get all she can because there may not be a next time, but that is JMO.
I limit her water intake to avoid this, I put down the toilet seats to avoid her drinking them ( she has drank the entire bowl dry before) and now she drinks sprinklers.
Is there any way to get her over this problem, or do you think I am even right?

My neighbors dog jumped the fence into my yard and my 4 dogs killed it! The neighbor says that my dogs are mean! I know they were mean to kill that dog, but they are really sweet with people they just can't get along with other dogs! I think it was her dogs fault for coming into my yard! Now she wants to call animal control! Three of them are Chihuahuas and 1 Yellow Labrador. Her dog was a Chihuahua. What do you think?

We have a 2 yr old cocker spaniel who has recently started relieving herself on our bed (thank goodness we have a waterproof mattress pad on it). She doesn't do it all the time just every now and then. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

I have a 7 almost 8 month old male Malti-poo. I didn't get him untill he was nearly 4 months old. Now he is a terror! He chews up everything and still isn't house trained. We've been working with him for months now and he still uses the bathroom in the house regularly even though we take him out often. A friend suggested that I crate train him. Is he too old or is it still possible?

I`ve taken her to her Vet, but the pills did not help, does anyone have any ideas to what else we can do to or buy for the rash, also I forgot to ask the vet where can we get that cone, that will prevent her from licking the cremes or salves off ? All answers are appreciated for any ideas that might help my 6 yr, old sweet baby Dot. Thanks.
