I have 2 Dachunds. One is Sniped and the other isn't. We have a doggie door and the Un-Sniped one growls at the Sniped one and doesn't allow him to come through the doggie door. Even when it rains (especially when it rains) he will not let him come through the door. I think it's because he is the dominant one (w/nuts) and the other isn't (w/o nuts).

Because dogs are pack animals and they must have an established order of things. In this case, the un-snipped male is the leader or alpha male. The snipped male falls below him in rank so the alpha dominates him.

Your alpha is expressing his dominance - it just happens to be over the doggie door!
