Ok, so I posted this a few days ago. And I got deleted, for it not being a 'question'..... anyway, most dog attacks are blamed on Pit Bulls.... but how many people can correctly identify a pit bull from a COMPLETELY different breed? Here's my QUESTION.... Can you pick the Pit Bull?

I know puppies have to bite because of their teeth, but our dog has lots of toys! He's been pretty good, but he has completely desroyed 2 pairs of shoes. We've tried lots of things to get him to stop, but none of them seem to work!

when my dog goes to the bathroom inside (he is potty training) i don't know how to punish him properly. i usually just say 'no!' in a firm voice, but he just wags his tail and smiles at me (or however much dogs smile). how do i get him to understand going inside is a BAD thing?

Note: putting him in his crate won't work becuase his crate is suppose to be a nice place, not a punishment for him. and absolutely NO hitting or any kind of physical abuse.

Does anyone know where to find an article on dogs mourning the loss of their owner? All I can find is mourning the loss of a pet and not the other way around. needing the info for a vet clinic to help a client. any help would be appreciated. Serious answers only please!

my dog does not eat. we had it for three days from the pound and it ate the first day but not now. It resisted going on a walk for the first time today. The vet said she had worms and gave her some injection down the dogs throat. Now she wants to sleep (most of the time outside) and still doesnt eat. i am concerned. any answers would be apprefciated.

He is fixed. We feed hm Royal Canin Large breed and he loves it. He seems to actually be losing weight even though he eats like a horse. I can't keep his dish full enough for him. He doesn't have worms.

we just got a puppy today and we realized he had a lump on his side. so.... i pinched it to get the blood out and a maggot looking bug called an"cuterebra" popped out! does any one know how to treat this and can it spread to other dogs or people? please help! he was an outside dog and lived in the wandered in the woods but now he lives in a fenced yard. it didn't seem to bug him when it came out and he hasn't been sick! what the heck is wrong with my dog?!:-) PLEASE HELP
