Yes, if your dog likes it, and it doesn't make your dog sick, then why not--as an occasional treat, in addition to the regular food?

BTW, my cat likes beef jerky!

If your dog is a one that eats all the scraps off the table and gets fed all sorts of treats from you and your family then there should be no reason why the can't share in the joy of beef jerky. We received a report once that a german sheppard jumped up 6 feet ontop of a bookshelf only to reach and consume an entire case of Toxic Tommy teriyaki beef jerky. The only ill effect was the interesting "presents" left in the yard the rest of the week!! :-)

No-for way too salty and can damage your dog's kidneys and liver. It is best to check with your VET as to what to and what not to feed your pet(s). It's best to stick with food made for dogs and stay away from people food.If you wish to give your dog a treat while you're munching on beef jerky get him / her the jerky made for dogs-does not have the salt and safe for your dog, or other treats made for dogs. Do not give the green bone shaped treat that also cleans teeth-very difficult to digest and has caused the death of too many dogs by blocking up the intestines. Why I always check with my Vet-just because its sold in pet stores doesn't mean always good for the animal/

yes, in small quantities, human jerky actually contains most of the same ingredients that dog jerky does, minus all of the sodium. So hand over that jerky to ur little baby, he/she will love u 4 it

I dont think so because its probably bad for dogs to eat spicy things. they will want a lot of water and then pee in your house. LOL
