Ok, so I posted this a few days ago. And I got deleted, for it not being a 'question'..... anyway, most dog attacks are blamed on Pit Bulls.... but how many people can correctly identify a pit bull from a COMPLETELY different breed? Here's my QUESTION.... Can you pick the Pit Bull?

PS. If you'd like to sign a petition against destroying Pit Bulls in California, e-mail me at ChrystalleC@yahoo.com, and I'll forward it to you..... Please don't report me

hey, I am against destroying Pit Bulls! I was raised around pits my whole life with my parents. Never did one bite me. Although we had one dog the did bite a neighborhood boy. BUT, you have to understand that boy picked on him everyday at the school bus stop and threw things at him and at the time he got bit the boy was in our yard when we wasnt home. I believe that they are only mean if you teach them that way, as with any dog. They are protective, and very smart. The story i told you was one dog we had out of about 15, the rest in NO way would bite anyone UNLESS they though you meant harm to us and still all they would do is growl and scare :)

Did you pay attention somebody else have been given in worry on the instant and he additionally had Pit bulls and this individual grew to become into ravenous his canine. while the police have been given there they discovered the canine and that they have been very skinny and the facets of the canine you will discover their ribs in the process the floor. This individual lives out in Arizona and it truly is DMX a Rock Singer. He have been given arrested on the instant and he's up for abuse. and additionally a pair out in l. a. super glued a kittens eyes close and the kitten would be nice and it is going to be up for adoption quickly. Michael Vick ruined his existence for what he did and he merits it. i'm hoping the decide tells Michael Vick he can no longer have a puppy for something of his existence. there is likewise a puppy keep and the folk out in l. a. misplaced the keep and the animals in there because of the fact they did no longer save the situation sparkling and that they have been abusing the animals.

Aggresive dogs attacking people is not a specific breed problem, it is a people problem: people that train the dog to fight or attack. Until city councils accept this (countless breed & dog behavior experts have tried to convince them world-wide), the problem with dangerous dogs will always be with us - only the breed changes. From the Doberman Pinscher to Pit Bull to Rottweiler to Cane Corso to Presa Canario to....whatever. How many breeds must be banned till the people in authority realize this?

This is REALLY OLD!!!! This little "test" has been around for a LONG time.
I will say again however, the dogs causing the problems and the ones that are targets in California are RARELY the Presas,Corsos,Dogos....and other pitbull looking dogs that are shown on the test. It would be sad that these dog could be targeted too, but something needs to be done about all the idiots breeding these pitbulls for the hell of it and giving them away to other idiots. I realize it is the person and not the dog, but once the idiots have gotten them and trained them to be aggressive, they are unfit to be pets. Not everyone of them can be retrained by Ceaser Milan!!!!!!!

It's not that I think they're bad dogs, they just don't appeal to me asthetically. I'm NOT for destroying the animals, though. As with all dog breeds, it's not the breed that is bad, it is the treatment that individual dogs get. Responsible owners MUST train and excercise their dogs! That goes for ANY breed, no matter what the size or reputation!

They all looked very similar, my son was bit by a dog this summer and they doctors ask was it a pit bull i said no it was a lab, but if it would have been a pit bill, I do not think my son would have a face.

people arent so mad about the type of dog, all dogs are potentialy dangerous, hell i had a sausage dog that tore a guys leg open......its just that the pitbull (like most german dogs and big dogs as well) if not trained properly and kept in a fenced yard can cause major damage (i know of 2 deaths to toddlers in OZ in the past few years)........that peition is pathetic and it should be for destroying irresponsible pitbull owners, not the animal!

I'd be all for destroying the owners... It's not an accident that this breed gets picked out over and over to be restricted or banned. Yeah, other breeds bite more often, but poodles (#1 offender, BTW) don't break bones or kill. Bad owners + deadly dogs = BANNED! And given their reputation, why would you want one? That alone makes the owners suspect.
