How on earth can anyone recommend letting him do it and claiming he'll grow out of it? Would you let a human male hump your leg if you didn't want him to? NO!
Raise your knee sharply to get him in the rib cage. You want to shock him and hopefully wind him too. Keep doing it until he never tries it again. It is disgusting and inappropriate. Make sure no-one lets him do it. Would you want him doing it to a child? No? Then let him know without doubt that it is not an acceptable behaviour now.

This is an easy answer but there is not an easy solution. Dogs show who is the alpha in a pack by humping, it is not a sexual thing because females will sometimes do it to. So basically he is trying to show he is alpha "dog". Well he is not...you are...gently scold him and teach him this is not a behavior you want him to continue. You should also consider having him neutered as well. He will be a much better pet when you do.

Option #1 - Try spraying him lightly with a water bottle sprayer when he humps anything. He will stop soon.
Option #2 - Get him nuetered.
Option #3 - Let him hump you, he will eventually grow out of it.
I have a pup too and the water spray worked soooo good.

first off is your puppy spayed or neutered? and secondly he or she is showing dominance in your pack. every dog has a pack your family is this dogs pack so you are not the leader of your own pack this is the reason why your dog is humping everything in sight!. OK did i officially confuse you!?

he might be bored get him a chew toy or some thing. since hes a puppy and you'll probly b @ tha vet often, ask the vet

I don't know if it will help, but when he humps you remove him and tell him no. If he continues than you need to continue to remove him. Don't give up. Encourage him to sit on your lap, couch etc.

because he is a boy and you smell like a girl. He is only doing what nature is telling him to do. First off, get him snipped. Then be consistent with him. Don't let him do it sometimes. Be sure to stop him every time right away and let him know he's doing something wrong.

Dogs, even female ones do this to show they are the boss. You have to get him to stop this, it will become a nasty habit that will become embarassing when he does this to someone who comes to visit.

just take him to the vet and get him fixed.

hump the cat so he knows how silly it looks when being done to a different species..
