Housebreaking can be frustrating at times. but in time your good efforts will pay off. It will keep you busy for awhile but remain patient please. There wil be accidents (don 't hit) A firm loud NO or BAD DOG is enough then take him outside When you see him sniffing around pick him up and take him out and praise him when he goes. This is what worked for me and my dog and I never hit him. He is now 11 years old and he never goes in the house. he even wakes me or my husband up in the morning so he can go outside. He's a wonderful dog and his name is Brutus

Get a cage for housebreaking. It sure worked well for me. I would go out with my puppy as soon as I took him out of the cage. Dogs won't go in their own house. You need to take her out every 2 hours, watch her very closely and keep her right with you. You must take her out after she eats or drinks. It takes only a short time if she has a cage to sleep in. Good LucK

that's what my brother has..they're supposed to be really smart dogs so house training her shouldn't be that big of a problem, but if you make sure she's outisde a lot and it's just to go to the bathroom she will learn pretty quick..or you can tie a leash to her and then put the other end around your waist so if she goes to the bathroom you are right there and then tell her "outside" and put her outside to go..eventually she will get the hint. Good luck!

Put newspaper down in the laundry or on tiles.. and each time the puppy pee's take it to the paper. You just have to be persistent...
The old version was to rub the puppies nose in the pee. and then place it on the newspaper.. but when you think that you 'kiss' the puppy. and they dont wash themselves like cats. thats abit gross
But a sligt slap on the rump and then placed on the newspaper. being persistant.. should do it. but I dont know about any of the suggestions being 'quick'. just be consistent and persistent

We have a five year old pit/lab. Wonderful dog but you gotta watch them for chewing, especially when young.

Ours apparently had a mahogany deficiency in her diet as her favorite thing to chew was a valuable antique table.

we have a pit/lab.. the way we house trained her was we tied a bell to the doorknob and whenever we would take her out we would make her ring the bell... after a week or 2 she began to ring it on her own...then after a while u can take the bell off and they just go stand by the door when they have to go out

Are you crate training? If so, PATIENCE! They will test you and make all kinds of horrific noises like you are torturing them. (LOL) Definitely consider puppy school too!
