Absolutly not! Allergies come from dander and saliva. All dogs have dander, all dogs have saliva and ALL dogs shed.
I have seen countless numbers of "Doodle" breeds in the shelters due to they shed and the owner was allergic to the dog.
No dog is truly "hypoallergenic" There are breeds that are considered Low dander, but I have known one person to be allergic to a "hypoallergenic dog" and the next one wasnt.
If you are looking for a low dander breed, I would advise you to spend some time with the breeder and their adult dogs to see if you have a reaction. Don't rely on the puppies alone. Sometimes they will not cause a reaction until they are a bit older...best to hang out with the adult dogs as well to see how things go,.

not nessesaraly, a poodle in a hypoallergenic dog while a lab is not if you breed the two it is a mix but you don't know what pups have the poodle dander gene so even though it has poodle genes you may end up being alergic to it because in has the labs dander genes.

Personally I would recomend a chinese crested hairless or a poodle so you wouldn't have to deal with the chance.

Poodles are not even hypoallergenic. I'm allergic to them also. i tried getting one, because I heard that they were good for allergy sufferers. Not the case with me.

that would be nice, but about 1/3 of them develop the characteristics of the 'other' breed. In the doggy day care we have a Labradoodle that sheds like crazy! Also, if bred to the slick haired breeds, they are often wire haired, and shed.
