First i would like to know why you are moving your dog outside. Although there are some dogs that can physically survive outdoors no dog should ever be left outside all the time. Dogs are domestic animals which need human companionship and attention. Also most counties in most states have laws about outdoor dogs. So if you absolutely have to keep a dog outdoors they must have a shelter with 3 sides. Food and water readliy available, and preferably nolt on a chain (as a chain can become embedded into the tender flash of the neck). Perhaps if the reasoning for leaving your dog outdoors is because you cannot care for him as well anymore, you could try looking into your local humane society or animal shelter and surrender your dog to possibly be adopted by an owner who would love his company and take good care of him.

Dogs are intensely social animals. It is cruel to keep your dog outside and away from you and your family. The dog will wonder what it did wrong to make you treat it this way.

BYE BABY
No more lonely cold nights or hearing that I'm bad
No more growling belly from the meals I never had.
No more scorching sunshine with a water bowl that's dry.
No more complaining neighbors about the noise when I cry.
No more hearing "shut up", "get down" or "get out of here"!
No more feeling disliked, only peace is in the air.
Euthanasia is a blessing, though some still can't see
why I was ever born If I weren't meant to be.
My last day of living was the best I ever had.
Someone held me very close, I could see she was very sad.
I kissed the lady's face, and she hugged me as she cried.
I wagged my tail to thank her, then I closed my eyes and died.

Are you serious?
Please don't "move him" outdoors. Why oh why did you get a dog? Let me guess- he sheds? pees in the house? chews up your stuff? barks? What could have possibly surprised you so much about having a puppy that you now have to keep him outside?
If you are keeping him outside after being an inside dog in your home- find him a new home where he can be close to a family. outside is lonely for dogs....

He is too young to be kept outside all by himself for more than an hour or 2 at a time. He needs the company of other puppies or people in order to be healthy and socialized.

He is crying because he needs company.

He's crying and barking because he's lonely and bored. Beagles are very social animals and don't do well locked away from their families.

Keep him inside or find him a home that will give him what he needs.

He's a puppy. Buy him chew toys and lot's of stuff to chew on. Also take him on walks as often as possible to burn off energy! He'll settle down as he gets older. I've had lot's of experience with puppies. :) Beagles and chihuahuas are both very hyper breeds! LOL.

Give the puppy something smothered in your sent. Put in a special place for your puppy to sleep. I would say a dog kennel but a dog house works just as well. My dog had a blanket that she slept on on my bed. after a while, we just gave it to her because she thought it was my bed. Just give her that and give her some toys with treats hidden inside them. If that doesn't work, consider a doggy door into a part of your house that the dog is only aloud in.

Oh, don't do it. I hate to see dogs outside like that constantly. It's okay to keep them out for awhile (let's say when you're home) but not 24-7. Why get a dog and them put them outside where you can't see them? Sorry, maybe there are more details I don't know yet but I'm an animal lover - obviously.

What can you do? You can keep that 2 month old BABY in the house, or find him a loving indoor family who won't relegate him to living the remainder of his life alone outside.

two months old is awfully little, got my dachshunds at 7 and 8 weeks, couldn't imagine them outside for the night. do you have other dogs, that hunt that will take them in and keep them warm. if not the only thing you can do is let them cry and miss their litter mates for a night or two; and let them settle down. they will stop whining after a night or two. mine sleep in bed with me and have never spent anight outside. think i would miss them more than they miss me; they are my little bed warmers, and companions....they are my best friends, ( all my friends are dogs) lol., tis true, don't let that baby be outside, tis just a babe...love em up, they will give back to you unconditionally, more than any "best friend" would. make sure your friends are dogs....
