I currently have a friend whose trying to buy a bald chinese crested. For those who don't know, these are the ugliest rat dogs on the planet. I've already told her that their ugly, but I need some harmless threats to help motivate her in the other direction. I wouldn't ever harm a puppy, but I just like throwing out lines to upset her about it. hehehe.

I found in the classified ads adult male Cocker Spanials for $80. That is exactly what I want is an adult male Cocker Spanial. The only downfall is it's 2 hours away. My husband doesn't want to drive there on the chance that we might not be interested. Would you drive 2 hours to look at a potential dog then 2 hours back home? Should I just wait for one closer to home? Is $80 a reasonable price. We don't have a ton of money. Thanks

my pomeranian has a ruptured anal gland. We went to the vet & he gave him a shot. Is my dog in a terrible amount of pain? Is their anything I can do for him? I have had him for seven years & have never heard of an impacted anal gland so anyone who reads this please help your poor baby before it's tooo late!!!

my boyfriend recently got a 9-month old beagle for us and I noticed a scar on her belly that starts about 2 inches from the bottom of her rib cage and is about 3 inches long. i think its a spay scar. my bf told me she wasn't spayed but i think he just forgot to ask the guy he got her from.

Being a bit arthritic I can't walk more than about an hour a day but I have a huge garden and plenty of room in the house also. I currently have a black labrador who needs a lot of walking but could not bear to part with him. I am thinking to the future here and what to get when my labrador dies.

I'm considering getting something like the Bark Smart (here's a link to examples: http://www.smarthome.com/prodindex.asp?catid=458) for our 2 dogs. I also figured it would help keep the neighbor's dogs a little quieter too.

Has anyone tried these? Do they work? Is there a specific brand/model you would recommend?

Conformation dog shows like Westminister are very popular, but some people have compaired them to a beauty pageant for dogs and it is all based on who is on the end of the leash. I am asking this question to get the opinions of non-dog show people. The spectators and there feelings on Conformation dog shows.

well she is in about her 60th day and i feel puppies but i feel no movement, are they dead? my other dogs pregnancy i could feel pups like trying to come out lol. they moved a lot. but this dog i cant feel them move why? should i feel them?

I have a 6-year-old female Golden Retriever. She has always been a little hyper and neurotic, and has shown some signs of submission such as avoiding prolonged eye contact with people. My oldest daughter sometimes acts harshley towards the dog, establishing strong dominance, which may be causing her stress. My daughter has been living out of the house for 6 years now, and just recently the dog has begun to urinate on her bedroom carpet but nowhere else. The dog has done this periodically in the past, but then stopped. This time, however, the behavior is continuing. We are growing very impatient with the dog. We have tried stern punishment and closing her off from the room, but nothing has worked. It doesn't seem to be submissive or dominant urination. Does anyone know what is causing this behavior and how we can correct it?

Our new dog, he's almost a year old. Only eats my shoes, or my undergarments. He doesn't touch my husbands things, only mine. I know why dogs chew on things. I just don't know why he is being selective and only chewing up things that have my smell on them.

I am with him all day long while my husband is at work. It is really getting annoying. He even tries to steal my shoes off my feet!!!!! I got a water bottle and I squirt him when I catch him in the act, but it's not working. HELP????
