that dark could mean there is blood in the stool. Take a fecal sample to the vet and have it checked. The first signs of Parvo, a deadly dog virus, is bloody dirreah, so if your dog has not been vaccinated, you may have a sick puppy

Black usually means blood is in it. You should take the dog to the vet. Blood in the stool, and it being diarrhea, could be something bad... like parvo. Hope all turns out well.

If you feed your dog lots of extra food..the dog tends to get diarrhea

you can call the vet and just ask if you should be worried and if there's anything you can do for now. Or give him a DAY. not two days because my friends dog once was throwing up green stuff and she gave her a day or two to recover and it developed to little Bella having a tumor in her stomache.

Take your dog to the vet! I've fed my dog cold, cooked rice mixed in with some regular food to help 'thicken' it up.

I think she is just sick, but to be on the safe side, you might want to take her to the vet.

Take it to the vet, black diarhea is usually worse than other colors.

They could have worms or something else you need to take them to a vet if not then you need to watch what you are feeding him or her!

I have feed my dogs pumpkin whenever they have diarrhea, it always worked...
