Is it normal for my dogs to really enjoy eating peanut butter sandwichs?

dogs always love peanut butter. it's sweet and chock full of protein, so it's pretty good for them. I wouldn't spoil them with it too much or they might start snubbing their regular old dog food, but it's a nice treat once in awhile!

Sure it is. Dogs will eat just about anything without complaint. It's part of their instinct. However, even if they enjoy eating peanut butter sandwiches it is probably not good for their health. Peanut butter by itself does make a good treat from time to time, as long as it is given in moderation.

Peanut butter is fairly high in fat, but it's not bad for your dog as long as it's used in moderation. I use organic peanut butter, but I've no idea if that's significantly better - it just makes me feel better about it! Most dogs LOVE peanut butter, and a Kong filled with the stuff and frozen for a few hours or overnight, is the number one favorite with our 'pack'.

Yes, but it should only be given as an occasional treat. That's the only way I can get a pill down my old chihuahua is to put it in peanut butter and have her lick it off my finger.

If the dog likes peanut butter then I guess it's ok.I would be careful not to let the dog have access to large bites as it may present a choking hazard as it does in humans

My dog loves it. As long as the dog has no allergy to peanut butter all is well!

If you think that is weird, my dogs and one of my cats eat carrots. If you're concerned with her eating human food, there are peanut butter treats for dogs
