I am looking to buy a standard or giant schnauzer puppy. Any good sites or stores to go to? Does not have to be show dogs.

whatever you do, go to a responsible breeder. DO NOT go to puppyfind or nextdaypets, they are both sites that mainly puppymill puppies are sold on. If you are not knowledgeable about puppymills, serach it, you'll find tons of info. I would suggest taking the advice of the person who gave you the AKC link, they will have a list of reputable breeders

go to your local pet store and usually they have an ASPCA adoption thing once a week look into it and see if there is the breed you are looking for that might want a good family

NEVER EVER EVER buy ANYTHING from a f-ing PETSTORE!!!
You REALLY need to do a LOT more research,dearie. THe breeds are HUGELY DIFFERENT!!!
Go to the AKC site & READ THE BREED STANDARDS!!!!!
