okey,my cocker spaniel doesnt listen to me,imean like when she goes outside and i need her to get in she doesnt do it she odes something on purpose like goes farther or goes to somebody elses yard,and i cant take it,she does everything on purpose,its either she wants attention or what?or like if i say no about chasing cars she does it on purpose HELP!

My dog was acting really weird Sunday and died later that day at 4:30 pm. The vet said that she never seen anything like it. My dog was throwing up blood, pissing out blood, and pooping out blood. It happened really fast. He went into a coma and died! What do you think it was. We looked in the yard and and we don't find anything that he could of ate!

My 13 yr. old dog has the sniffles and I suspect allergies. A friend suggested that I give her a baby benedryl. What do you think? What else besides taking her to the vet can I do?

I recently had a German Shepard put to sleep for Mange. At least, the vet thought he had mange but was unsure. He had got loose and sent to a shelter. The shelter didn't even hold him for 24 hours before making the decision to put him down. They didn't even wait for us to contact them about the dogs because by the time we found out that he got loose and sent to this certain shelter they had already closed for the night. We called first thing in the morning to find out they had put our dog down. Is this right?

I dont know why she is so mean. I have had her since she was born and she has never been abused. I tried to keep her inside but she got to mean to my other dogs so I put her outside, she has to be in a pen because she trys to attack people and other dogs. She even goes crazy at my 1 year old nephew. I feel real bad because she gets no attention now and has to stay in a pen all the time. I would like to give her away to someone who has more time and more room for her but I cant because she is so mean. ( I cant give her attention now because she is real hyper and jumps on me she has knocked me down a couple of times and I am pregnant which is another reason I am worried about keeping her around.) She is as sweet as can be to my husband and I, but real hyper. I need help in breaking her of being so mean.

It's not really a sickness or anything but do you think he is weird? Today i was messing around with him. After he went to the chair and bunndles up in all the blankets and hid under one and peeked out of that blanket, like a spy. then he went to the couch and hid under another blanket, sat up and looked at me, and he looked like an old lady wen he did this. Now, hes slepping on the couch. by the way, hes a chihuahua, so that makes it seem a bit funnier to me. Do you think he is weird. Or just plain funny? Or give me another opinion.

We adpoted a mixed dog. (german shepherd +???) we have a small condo and every morning when we leave for work or school (we take him for a walk first thing in the morning) he would start to make those noises that break my heart. Because he is lonely and he has to stay at home for 8 hours before we get back. What should I do to keep him entertained for 8 hours while we are gone? I do have couple toys for him but he doesn't play them really, all he wants to do is go out and spend time with us.

Ok. I found this nice looking pit bull. I wanna keep it but my mother is afride that it will hurt my siblings. I don't think that she vicious. But she has scars that show that she has been in a fight. I can tell that no one wanted the dog because they lefted it tied up on a fence. She is still young but not quite a puppy. SHould I take her to a shelter or try and keep her. I you think you know a nice person that might want to buy her, please contact me by email.
