It's not really a sickness or anything but do you think he is weird? Today i was messing around with him. After he went to the chair and bunndles up in all the blankets and hid under one and peeked out of that blanket, like a spy. then he went to the couch and hid under another blanket, sat up and looked at me, and he looked like an old lady wen he did this. Now, hes slepping on the couch. by the way, hes a chihuahua, so that makes it seem a bit funnier to me. Do you think he is weird. Or just plain funny? Or give me another opinion.

Chihuahuas are funny dogs.. They are usually a bit on the chilly side so they like to burrow in blankets and the like.. Your pup is just doing the natural chula thing! I think its adorable and quite funny! Have fun with him, and give him plenty of snuggy things!

You're lucky, you've got a dog with character. I had a weird maltese terrier - must be something in the toy breeds - he was the best dog ever! He would talk to me when he wanted something much in the same way as Tim Allen grunted on "Home Improvement" . And he would 'steal' my Barbie doll every night and tuck her in under his blanket while I was sleeping. Every morning I would find my doll in his bed with the blanket tucked under her chin. Funny, he only went for Barbie - he never bothered with Ken. My maltese's name was Rambo, he died 5 years ago - I still miss him. What's your little one's name?

It sound like hes being playful. I bet its adorable to watch.
My boyfriend had a chihuahua, and it always wanted to be under blankets too, they have thin hair and get cold, my terrier mix does the same thing when she sleeps.

My dog, Ginger who is a Chihuahua mix does the same thing. It is just being funny. She'll take off running, and dive under a bundle of blankets, and stare up at me, and wacth me werever I go. She looks like she is going to kill me!!!! I'll look her in the eye and she gets all excited and jumps up and down, then calms down and goes under blankets and stares.

No its not weird..i have a minpin and he loves being under blankets...its so funny cuz u dont even kno hes there and then u see a nose pop out lol..gotta love dogs

I have 16 dogs, 4 of them r chihuahuas, and 5 of them r poodles, and most small dogs like 2 hide and play especially when thay give u that look that says "play wid me or ill cry!" its not weird and yea it is funny as hell!

Sounds like he is cold.
Chis are so small and they do not have enough body mass to regulate their temp very well and they get cold easily.
Just be sure he has pleanty of blankets to hide in and under.
He does sound cute.

Sounds like he is trying to make himself a den. Dogs like places where they can feel safe and secure, and piling blankets on top of him probably makes him feel very cozy and safe.
And he's probably weird too.

he sounds cold also dogs like to den my dauchsund likes to get into her cage and get under her blanket in it even though i prefer her in reaqch to be petted the cage and blanket make her feel safe.

my dogs do crazy stuff like that all the time..they think its fun and it gives them something 2 do ..so its not weird just let him go and do waht ever he thinks is fun..he wont be chew up things and if he finds it interestiing then he'll do it till he get tried and he'll go 2 sleep
