as said before chocolate and onions are bad for dogs, but Garlic is only bad for very small dogs. Garlic can actually get rid of fleas and ticks as they don't like the taste.
All fruit and veg (except for onions) is great for your dog as long as it is blended in a juicer.
Chicken bones are not bad for your dog and they only become brittle when they are cooked. The healthiest things to feed your dogs is Raw meaty bones. (but do be more careful with pork as it has some kind of bacteria that can affect dogs, but not us because we cook it).
Dogs are carnivores, they are supposed to eat meat and bones. They are unable to process flour so any flour product such as rice etc, just goes straight through them.
Dog food is not good for your dogs and cat food is not good for your cats, it is just cheaper and more convenient . Just the same as some well known junk food that we eat. Eat that every day and see how you feel.

As with the majority of your answers, chocolate is a definite no-no. Table scraps are also bad because a dog's digestive system isn't meant to take on human food. It can cause all kinds of problems. Stick with a good brand of dog food (dry/canned). Your dog will thank you.

Chocolate, onions, and the other foods listed here already are bad for dogs. However, most natural food that is good for humans is good for dogs--meats (even raw), rice, fruits and vegetables (broccoli and carrots--cooked goes down easier), yogurt, cheese, etc. My vet recommends that half of my dog's diet should be real food rather than low-quality pet food (compared to nutritious human food, all dog food is low-quality--that is why it is so cheap).

I have to disagree with Danielle K. Chocolate is VERY VERY bad for dogs due to the theo bromine in it. My Westie was in intensive care for two days after scrounging some chocolate out of the bin. He very almost didnt make it. If you want to check it out more then have a look at this link.

Chocolate is really bad for dogs. And also onions. NEVER give a dog onions because it can actually cause a break down of their red blood cells and hurt them very badly.

Yes, please never give your dog chocolate. Also, Apple seeds, onions, macadamia nuts. Popcorn is fine for your dog, just not too much. My dog lives for popcorn. I actually did research about westies for a project and this website below gave me a great list of what your dog shouldn't have.

Do not feed you dog chicken bones! These bones splinter easily in a dog's strong jaws, and the dog may do permanant damage or die by swallowing these fragments.

Absolutely no chocolate, as it can be toxic to dogs. And particularly since you have a small dog. Also no grapes or raisins.
